LYLBTB Epilogue … to be continued

I started this site about 2 years ago – I was a reading fiend, in my own fictional frenzy!! I scoured the new release lists at the publishers daily, and followed Goodreads with a passion – always looking for the next best book!! But somewhere along the way my love of reading became a chore, a job almost. I have a job. I also have a family, including 2 teenage daughters, whom I love dearly…. but…. reading was my relief at the end of a long day, my escape.  And the last few months of never-even-finishing a book has saddened me beyond belief. So, I am closing the site down … for now? for good? Not sure. Once my battery is recharged I may want to revert to what it was at the beginning – just me buying my books, and pimping my favourite reads. Time will tell.

You see, I never set out to make this site a business – I was always just about pimping the authors and their books, fuelled by my almost physical need to read. Not all the free books that get thrown at review sites can make up for the loss of my reading passion. There is no such thing as a free lunch. And I wanna eat!! I wanna return to that smorgasbord of good books that I know are out there!

So to all the publishers and authors that have worked with me over the last 2 years – a massive thanks for your generosity ❤ if I owe you a review – I will definitely honour that debt. Just let me refresh, rewind, and rekindle my need to read. (My personal take on the 3 R’s!!) 😀

And to the truly talented team of reviewers – the LYLBTB Posse; Faye, Whit!!!!!, BookSmitten, Deb, Jen, Dianne, Alex, Carli, Seymour, Sid, Shay, Lady McNeill, Sally, T, KC, Allison and Janet – thank you sooooo much for the wonderful, and deeply thought out reviews you have written. Whatever plans any of you have for your reading/reviewing future I wish you the best of luck, and a million followers to all of you ❤

To those that took the time to read the reviews and even comment – a big thank you! I do hope we didn’t cost you too much money, or increased your TBR piles too much (she lied!) 🙂 Long may your passion for books, specifically within the m/m genre, continue ….. Go. Buy the Book!
